Author Una King was inspired to write Tiny Tug based upon her twice daily commutes across the San Francisco Bay en route to her then job in the City. Tiny Tug was actually written in long hand while aboard the Golden Gate Bridge District "Larkspur" ferry in transit across the Bay. Tiny Tug - Adventures on San Francisco Bay was indeed born of Una King's real and imaginary boating adventures on the San Francisco Bay. She recently moved to Oakmont, California -- in the Valley of the Moon -- with the "real" Captain Charlie and her loveable dachshund, Ozzie the Great.
Rob Simmons - Illustrator

Rob Simmons is an art director and animator who's imagination is as active now as it was when he first started drawing pictures of a certain lovable cartoon beagle when he was a little boy. Now, he shares his own creations with his children. He lives in Tiburon, California with his wife and two sons.
