Tiny Tug is a children’s story with a positive message that helps teach children several
important lessons. With the rise in violence in the school systems in recent years, the time to make an impact on a child is when they are just beginning to
engage in social situations using early intervention at the age of 18 months. One major issue covered in Tiny Tug is “bullying” behavior, and it’s negative impact on socio-emotional development. Tiny Tug eventually rises above being bullied, questions whether this behavior
is appropriate, and realizes that, in fact, bullying is not acceptable. This will reinforce critical thinking for your children as it applies to social situations, and demonstrates to your students that this is one type of behavior that is socially unacceptable.
